Location of Quepen
Quepen is located in the middle of the clavicle, i.e. 4 cun from the body axis, behind, in the costoclavicular cleft.
This is where the brachial plexus passes, which will nourish the entire upper limb.
Therapeutic functions and clinical indications
- Point where all the yang meridians pass except that of the bladder, therefore very often used to lower yang: in the event of rising yang, anger, hypertension or insomnia;
- Pain in the upper limb: circulatory problems, arteriovenous, neck pain, neuralgia, paralysis in the arm.
