Zhongfu (LU 1)

Zhongfu is the mu Point of the Lung, place of concentration of Qi of the lung.
It is also a crossing point with the spleen meridian.

Location of Zhongfu

Zhongfu is located 1 Cun below the collarbone, on the inner edge of the coracoid apophysis.
It is located 6 cun lateral to the anterior midline, at the height of the 1^er espace intercostal (entre la 1^st and the 2^nd rib).

Therapeutic functions and Clinical indications of Zhongfu

• Diffuse lung qi, tone it, regulate it: cough, cough with sputum, dyspnea.
• Local point to be used in shoulder pathologies.
