Qimen (LV 14)

Qimen corresponds to the Mu point of the Liver, place of concentration of Liver Qi.

Location of Qimen

We take the nipple line, under the breast, Qimen is located at level 6^th intercostal space.

Therapeutic functions and clinical indications of Qimen

• Qimen is used in all liver pathologies, often coupled with the shu point of the back which is Ganshu ;
• This is a local point for the flank pain, hypochondria and breast distension.
