Point XI the Large Intestine.

Location of Wenliu

Wenliu is 5 cun from YangXi, on the line connecting the anatomical snore at the end of the bend of the elbow.

Therapeutic functions and Clinical indications

• Activates traffic in the meridian and stops the pain: wrist, elbow, shoulder, neck, face, teeth/gums;
• Refreshes heat and eliminates toxins: redness, heat, swelling, pain and possibly pruritus (itching) as for the panaris (skin infection and subcutaneous a finger), degeneration boil, dermatological problem (with infection).
