Location of ZhuBin

ZhuBin is located 5 cun above the tip of the medial malleolus, approximately 2 cun behind the medial border of the tibia.
It is located on the line connecting TaiXi to YinGu.

Therapeutic functions of ZhuBin

• ZhuBin regulates the distribution of Blood and Yin;
• It clears the Heart and transforms phlegm;
• It regulates Qi and relieves pain;
• It is often used in moxa for internal tumors, masses, and phlegm. To stimulate the flow of Yin through the Yang energy of moxa. To promote the distribution of Blood and Yin in cases of stagnation. For intangible Tan in the Lower Burner (and Middle Burner);
• Infertility due to internal mucus or stagnation; use moxa to dispel the Yin that is blocking the Yang;
• It is also used to treat fluid retention caused by pregnancy between the 3rd and 6th months of pregnancy.
