Geshu (17V)

Geshu corresponds to the shu point on the back of the diaphragm.
It is also the meeting point of blood.

Localisation de Geshu

Geshu is located 1.5 cun from the posterior midline, below the horizontal line between vertebrae D7 and D8.

Fonctions thérapeutiques de Geshu

• For hiccups, for diaphragm diseases : hiatal hernia, paralysis (in quadriplegics), diaphragmatic scoliosis;
• Shown in all blood diseases(deficiency, heat, qi stagnation);
• Problèmes respiratoires en haut ou digestifs en bas, lien avec les émotions : ‘Le Sang est le support du Shen’.
