Zhongji (3VC)

Zhongji can be translated as 'extreme center'.
C'est le Mu point of the Vessie therefore place of concentration of Qi.
It is also the crossing point of the 3 yin of the foot.

Location of Zhongji

Zhongji is present 1 cun above the pubis, the pubic symphysis, or 4 cun below the navel.

Therapeutic functions and clinical indications of Zhongji

• Zhongji treats all bladder problems : incontinence, urinary retention, cystitis;
  Lin zheng = urinary infection: cloudy, frequent, dark, painful urination, with stinging sensation, blood, itching.
  Long bi = urinary difficulties, it comes out with difficulty, drip.
• It is used for sexual problems in men : impotence, spermatorrhea;
• It is also used for gynecological problems.
