Location of Ximen

Ximen is located on the anterior side of the forearm, on a line that links QuZe at Daling, 5 cun proximally to Daling, between the tendons of the long palmar and the radial flexor of the carp.

Ximen's therapeutic functions

  • Refresh the ying (nutritious)/Xue (blood) layer, stops blood;
  • Active blood and disperses stasis;
  • Calm the Shen;
  • XiMen Can be used when there is chest pain, heart pain, heart pain with vomiting, blood vomiting, cough with blood expectoration, epistaxis (nose bleeding), agitation.
