Jianwaushu (SI 14)

Jian means shoulder, Wai means external and Shu refers to the idea of a point.

Location of Jianwaishu

3 cun lateral to the spine, on a horizontal line that passes between dorsals D1 and D2, is Jianwaishu.

Therapeutic functions and Clinical indications

• Used for cervico-scapular pathologies ;
• Point in the angular syndrome which corresponds to the levator scapula muscle (shoulder Bone).

This point will be massaged with Jianzhongshu.
