Yanglingquan (GB 34)

Yanglingquan corresponds to the hui point, tendon meeting point.
It is also the he, xia he point of the gallbladder (GB).

Location of Yanglingquan

We go down on the knee, Yanglingquan is located directly below and in front of the head of the fibula.
If we go down 1 cun and move forward 1 cun, we find ourselves on Zusanli.

Yanglingquan therapeutic functions

Yanglingquan is a point that drains the GB, it drains moisture-heat into the GB.

It is a place where the sciatic nerve passes.

• It therefore treats the sciatic nerve neuralgia, especially those which radiate to the foot;
• It is used for all tendon-related pathologies, or contractibility throughout the body: generalized tendinopathy;
• It treats the pain and distension on the flanks ;
• It also treats headaches, and it harmonizes the shaoyang.
