Location of Baihui

Baihui is located at the top of the skull. It lies slightly behind the highest point of the head, on the interparietal suture.
We take the line that connects the tips of the two ears, and we look for a depression in the middle of this line (this is the most painful depression on the skull).

Link with the liver meridian, this is the end of the liver meridian.

Therapeutic functions and clinical indications of Baihui

• Baihui calm the wind;
• he can lower or raise yang;
• he can regulate the Shen (wake up or calm down);
• Vertex headaches, from jueyin.

Contraindicated in children in whom the fontanelle is not yet closed.
